This year marks the 126th year that Carrie Steele-Pitts Home has been providing a Home for the most vulnerable children in our community. Children who are survivors of unthinkable abuse, neglect and abandonment have found peace and healing while living at Carrie Steele-Pitts Home. Our legacy confirms that with patience, laughter, love and forgiveness, the children meet high expectations and go on to live productive lives.
Raising children who have suffered hurt and loss requires a steadfast commitment. At Carrie Steele-Pitts Home, we are raising young people to reach their highest potential. The belief “it takes a village to raise a child” is taken very seriously at Carrie Steele-Pitts Home — we depend on the generosity of the community to help us each day.
Your gift will be used to give the children a chance to experience the delights of the childhood that was almost stolen from them. In the New Year, as we have for the past 126 years, we will continue to teach the youth the skills and values that are essential for them to effectively pursue their hopes and dreams for the future.
Your gracious contribution will allow us to continue the magnificent legacy of this beloved Home and provide care for thousands of children well into the future.
