Camp Leap has a garden focus this summer!

CSPH and Imhotep Academy have an amazing record of years caring for Atlanta’s children and summer 2018 is the best to come! This summer, students will learn all about gardening. Your child will be assigned to one of the seven gardens on campus that will keep him/her engaged in scientific and mathematic standards all summer. Your child will learn to grow and harvest seeds and plants, conduct science experiments, create watering systems, research concepts and questions surrounding gardening, learn entrepreneurship and more.

Math Takes a Hit During the Summer

When it comes to summer learning loss, math takes one of the biggest hits. On average, students lose about 2.6 months worth of grade level equivalency in computation skills during their summer break. With many schools struggling to meet state and federal standards in math, summer is the time for fun and learning!
