Camp LEAP Summer Day Camp is a seven-week camp that serves over 100 youth each summer. The youth, ages 5-12, participate in morning academics with certified teachers. The academic focus centers on math and science allowing the students and teachers to take deep dives in to subject matter – a luxury of time that is not available during the school year. The afternoons are filled with swimming, chess, dance, robotics, theatre, basketball, financial literary, arts and crafts, computer time and sports.  Three meals are offered and shared in family style. offered at on a sliding fee scale with one quarter of the families paying as little as $25 per week.

The camp is an important addition to the services offered in the Adamsville neighborhood, as it is important to keep the children engaged in learning and fun throughout the long summer.
